Bonsu: Kofä, megyeá dä sñâ adesþæé hüé wõ mfasoõá sene adwaádäe. Bonsu: Kofi, I believe that schooling is more useful than trading. [Lit. "… I believe that there is more profit in learning than in trading"]
Kofi: Aédñánà na woádwene saaá? Meá deñ, neá mmienuá hüé húaá. Kofi: Why do you think so? As for me, the two of them are necessary.
Bonsu: Medweáne sñâ adesþæé hüé wõ mfasoõá, ñfiri sñâ ñmaá onäpa adweáne muá bueá. Aéfeái bäoà, wõán aâ wõsþæé adeáñ kõá anäm noá bñyñá mmaranämfoáõ, akyerñkyerñáfoáõ, adõákoàtafoáõ neá nea ñkøékæé hüé. Bonsu: I think that schooling is useful, because it opens people's minds. Moreover, those who study go ahead and become lawyers, teachers, doctors and so on.
Kofi: Meá deñ, ñnyñá adõákoàtafoáõ neá akyerñkyerñáfoõ nákutoo na yñhúéaá õmaán yä muá. Kae sñâ akuafoáõ na ñmaá yñn aduaneá däe na apofofoáõ náso maá yñn naám weáñ. Kofi: As for me, it's not only the doctors and teachers that we need in this country. Remember that it's the farmers who give us food and the fishermen who give us fish.
Bonsu: Naánso nkõsoõá doádoõ noá aára, adesþæfoáõ na wõdeá baá. Bonsu: But for most of the progress, it's the learners who bring it.
Kofi: Ñnteá saaá. Sukuáuàfoáõ pii yñ akwadwofoáõ. Wõmpñá afuáom kõá na ebä náso mmoaá wõn awoáfoõ koáraa. Kofi: That's not true. Many students are lazy bones. They don't like farming and some also don't help their parents at all.
Bonsu: Ñnyñá wõán nyinaáa na ñteá saaá. Bonsu: Not all of them are like this.
Kofi: Meá deñ, adwaádäe hüé wõ mfasoõá pii. Adwadäfoõ na ñkõáfaá aduaneá firi nkuraáaseñ baá kuárom maá akraákyeàfoáõ nyaá bä tõá däe. Adwadifoáõ tõán ntomaá boaá maá yñnyaá ataadeáñ ne mpaboaá hyñá. Kofi: As for me, trading is very useful. It's the traders who bring food from the villages to town for the clerks to get some to buy and eat. The traders sell cloth and help us to get clothes and shoes to wear.
Bonsu: Ñénneñ adesþæé neá adwaádäe nyinaáa hüé wõ mfasoõá. Ïmaán Ghaánaà húaá akuafoáõ, adõákoàtafoáõ, mmaranämfoáõ, adwadifoáõ neá akraákyeàfoáõ. Bonsu: Then both schooling and trading are useful. Ghana needs farmers, doctors, lawyers, traders and clerks.
Kofi: Ñyñ ampaá. Obäara neá n'adwuáma. Yñkæé neá nyinaáa boám aâ na yñnyaá nkõsoõá. Kofi: That's true. To everybody his work. If we unite all of it, we'll progress.
Bonsu: Saaá na ñteáñ. Bonsu: That's how it is.
