Yaw: Abeánaa, maakyøé! Aédñán na w'aniá agyeá sei? Yaw: Abenaa, good morning! Why are you so happy?
Abenaa: Yaw, yaa nuaá! Ñnnñá deñ, me nsaá akæé kraátaàaá aáfìri meá nuaánom mmienuá hõá. Wõwõ Aburokyiáre. Abenaa: Yaw, good morning! Today, I got a letter from two of my brothers and sisters. They are in Europe.
Yaw: Saaá? Woá nuaánom sñán na ñwõá Aburokyiáre? Yaw: Really? How many of your brothers and sisters are in Europe?
Abenaa: Wõyñ ñnaán; õbaáa baaküé ñána mmariáma mmiñnsæé. Abenaa: Four of them, one sister and three brothers.
Yaw: So moáyñà enuám pñá? Eénti woá nuaánom nyinaáa wõ Aburokyiáre? Yaw: So you are only five? Then all of your brothers and sisters are in Europe?
Abenaa: Me nákü aára na mewõá Ghaánaà. Abenaa: I am the only one who is in Ghana.
Yaw: Na Akoásua ñ? Ïnyñá woá nuaá?  Yaw: And Akosua? Isn't she your sister? 
Abenaa: Oo, õyñ meá nuaá. Ïyñ meá na nuaá baá. Abenaa: Oh, she is my sister, she is the child of my mother's sister.
Yaw: Saaá? Meá deñ, menim sñâ õyñ woá na neá w'aágyaà baá. Na Kwaåmeà neá Kofiá náso ñ? Yaw: Really? As for me, I thought that she is your parents' child. And Kwame and Kofi?
Abenaa: Kwaåmeà yñ meá wõfa baá, na Kofiá náso yñ m'aágyaà kuámaa baá. Abenaa: Kwame is my uncle's son, and Kofi also is my 'younger' father's child (i.e. junior brother of one's father).
Yaw: Menniám saaá koáraa. Woáaàkõsraá woá nuaánom wõ Aburokyiáre pñán anaáa? Yaw: I didn't know this at all. Have you visited your brothers and sisters in Europe once?
Abenaa: Daabiá. Menniá sikaá. Abenaa: No. I don't have the money.
Yaw: Twerñ wõn kraátaàaá sñâ wõámfa sikaá mámrñ wo. Yaw: Write them a letter that they should send you the money.
Abenaa: Ñnoá deñ, wõán náso, wõnniá sikaá pii. Merekõá fiáe aákõàtwerñá wõn. Abenaa: As for that they don't have much money. I'm going home to write to them.
Yaw: Yoo. Kyea wõn maá me! Yaw: Greet them from me!
Abenaa: Yoo. Wõbñáteà. Abenaa: Yes, I will. (= "they will hear").
